MAILCHIMP MAILING LIST

Many web sites now feature mailing lists so that businesses may keep in touch with their clients quickly and cheaply. PerthWeb makes this process even easier by supplying clients with the MailChimp mailing list tool. The basic process and features are outlined below:

• Via the web site a visitor can simply subscribe or unsubscribe from the list, & their details are captured in a database
• To mail all the subscribers, the list owner simply logs into the MailChimp with their password, composes an email, and sends it – MailChimp’s mail servers do the work, sending the email onto all subscribers
• The mailing list includes a mail merge feature to personalize emails, and basic HTML formatting controls like bolding and underlining
• The system includes many features such as free default templates (custom templates may also be designed), a data import/export feature (allows importing of existing client lists or exporting of member details), email view statistics (such as the percentage of users who read an email), email preview in common email packages, and can even build basic surveys 

A MailChimp mailing list may be set up for $399 inclusive of GST. Custom email templates that are personalised to your company branding are also available from $300 inclusive of GST.  MailChimp allows up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month free of charge.  Fees are outlined here.
