PerthWeb is a family based Perth web design company. It was established in 1998 to meet the growing need for high quality, affordable web site production and ecommerce solutions for small to medium enterprises in Perth. Since then it has established itself as a leading web site developer, with clients both nationally and internationally, including Sumich, Burley Sekem, Youngs Holden, WA Local Government Superannuation, Hames Sharley, the WA Primary Principal's Association, Scoop, Gryphon Garage Doors, Perth Laser Vision, Elizabeth's Bookshops, Shoe Show, the Autism Association of WA, the Arthritis Association of WA, Mirrabooka Square, and the Margaret River Wine Industry Association.
Since its inception PerthWeb's vast array of services has also grown to include content management systems, social media, web site hosting (through its hosting arm Web Click), software and database development, corporate design & multimedia (though its design & multimedia arm Freckle Creative), and search engine optimization (SEO) services.
PerthWeb also operates a niche business known as glyFX, which is a design company catering to the software industry, helping them to design effective interfaces for software to increase usability whilst also helping to better promote their software. This includes the online sales of stock icon sets for Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac OS, Linux, Apple iPhone and Android. This business operates primarily overseas, with clients such as Airbus, Nero (makers of the most popular CD/DVD authoring program), Agilent Technologies (large European electronics and chemical conglomerate), and Cochlear (makers of the bionic ear).
In 2005 PerthWeb received an award for the Elizabeth’s Bookshops web site in the WA Web Awards as the best e-commerce site for 2005, with finalist web sites in most years since inception. Matthew Price, the Managing Director, was also a Western Region finalist in the Ernst & Young, Young Entrepreneurs Award for 2005.
PerthWeb also works with a number of experts in their own industries such as corporate design companies, marketing consultancies, and IT consultancies, helping them to deliver superior results to their clients, either silently or in direct partnership.
