PerthWeb is now one of Perth's oldest and most respected web site design companies – having celebrated 10 years in operation in 2008. Throughout this time, our commitment to professional customer service, industry standards, and the delivery of cost effective quality web sites that provide results has seen us mature into a major player in the Western Australian web industry, with PerthWeb respected by businesses and competitors.
PerthWeb has long been involved in the development of the web industry, with owner Matt Price, PerthWeb, and other staff being early members of Port 80, the pre-cursor to the Australian Web Industry Association (AWIA). We see AWIA as a vital part of our local industry, as it gives web developers a platform to discuss industry issues and thereby improve the professionalism of the industry.
PerthWeb has also been proud to have been an entrant in the West Australian Web Industry Awards every year since their inception in 2005. This included taking out the best e-commerce site award in 2005 for the Elizabeth’s Bookshops web site, and having finalist sites in most years of the award. This award in particular allows AWIA to raise public awareness of our profession, promotes excellence in development and design, and a sense of community in our own industry.
