Matt Price - Managing Director
PerthWeb's Director, Matt Price, has been working in the Internet industry for over 14 years, starting his career at iiNet Limited, Western Australia's largest Internet Service Provider, where he worked whilst he completed his Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Marketing and Information Systems.
It was at iiNet that Matt decided to enter the web design industry, focusing on the needs of the small to medium business, focusing on superior value and personal customer service. Whilst PerthWeb Pty Ltd has grown to encompass a vast array of products and services, the personal service delivered by Matt and his team has remained a cornerstone of PerthWeb's success.
Apart from the day to day management and growth of the company, Matt's focus is on sales and client management, meeting with clients to understand their businesses and architecting solutions to achieve their goals by making the use of his vast industry experience. Matt's strength is being able to take complex technology and make it understandable for the every day business person. This was one of the reasons that in 2005, Matt was also a finalist in the Western Region of the Ernst & Young Young Entrepeneur's competition.
Vanessa Evans - Project Manager
Vanessa joined PerthWeb in 2006 after several successful years as a Project Manager at WebFirm. Her main role is ensuring that Matt knows his clients are being well looked after, and marshalling our staff to deliver great projects on time and on budget. She does all of this with an amazingly cheery disposition despite being in an office with too many men!
Brian Brushwood - Senior Developer
Brian is an industry stalwart, having started his career at Internet Business Corporation over 10 years ago, and having spent some years in the UK where he was the key developer of a prominent fashion label's online e-commerce presence and POS systems. Brian joined PerthWebin 2006 and is our Senior Developer, with a hand in both web and software development at PerthWeb. Whilst he is a master at C# .NET development, he is also skilled in ColdFusion and ASP Classic, making him an exceedingly versatile programmer and trouble shooter. Brian mentors our more junior programmers and often takes on a Project Management role in our more advanced projects.
Chris Messina - Design Manager
Chris Messina originally hails from Boston, having worked with major design company Organic on projects for Macy's and Sony Playstation, but he has been enjoying sunny Perth for some years now. He has been PerthWeb's Design Manager since 2005, and is a master of many skills. From web design to logo design, Flash animation to business card design, Chris is at the front of our business talking to clients and mustering the best from our graphic design team.
Simon Seeber - Senior Designer & glyFX Manager
Simon is PerthWeb's long suffering Macophile in an office of PC fans, and is coincidentally also PerthWeb's longest serving graphic designer, having been with PerthWeb since 2003. He is a fountain of knowledge on almost everything design and Apple Mac related! Simon is also the manager of glyFX, PerthWeb's niche design arm, which has a special focus on delivering icons and interface development to software companies world wide. Simon can now be seen writing up quotes to global clients, and delivering icons to companies as diverse as Nero and Airbus.
Brendan Grieve - IT Manager
Brendan joined PerthWeb seeking new challenges after successfully running his own IT consultancy and web site hosting company for a number of years. He now oversees our web site hosting and colocation division Web Click, managing maintenance, upgrades, and higher level support at the data centre located right here in our Perth office. There are very few problems this man can't fix!
Marlene Hauer - Sales Manager
Marlene has recently joined PerthWeb as our Sales Manager. She and Matt work together as a team to provide solutions to both new and existing clients, helping them to achieve their online goals. Marlene has a Degree in Marketing from her home country Austria, and has held marketing and positions at a number of technology based companies here in Perth and in Europe. She provides another valuable perspective to the sales process in an industry that can be a little male dominated.
